Dear friends
Greetings When I was installing nfringe for the first time, I found something very curious in the license terms : we have to purchase nfringe for our commercial projects BEFORE INSTALLING the nfringe Before installing is very different from before using So here is the question : After installing the nfringe I decided not to use it for my project and I have uninstalled it from my computer before starting to create my commercial project what is going to happen to me !!!!!???? kind regards |

There is a 30 day evaluation period for commercial installs. I believe it asks you to contact us before installing so we can make sure you have the latest version and everything you need for a proper evaluation.

I appreciate the response As long as you say this cause no problem I’m ok with it too Lately I heard these legal terms are very important documents, so I became a little sensitive about them This is the exact term: IF YOU ARE USING THIS PRODUCT FOR DEVELOPMENT OF A COMMERCIAL SOFTWARE PRODUCT, YOU MUST OBTAIN A COMMERCIAL LICENSE FROM PIXEL MINE, INC. BEFORE INSTALLING THIS PRODUCT. So it doesn’t say contact for evaluation it says obtain a commercial license Or we can always go like this: Install nfringe for a noncommercial test project if successful, uninstall, obtain a license, reinstall, and start our commercial project if not uninstall and start our commercial project |

I have a question, that I was going to create a new thread for, but it's similar to shakoor's question, so I'll just ask here.
If I use the non-commercial version of nFringe for a non-commercial UDK game, can I later buy a commercial license, or do I have to get the commercial license before I even start? See, I want to program a game, I don't know if I'll sell it or not, but I want to keep my options open - If I use the non-commercial nFringe to program it, does that mean I can never sell the game, even if I buy a license after I start working? |
