I am trying to activate a non-commercial licence, but keep getting an activation error.
I was able to add a non commercial licence, but after a week or so, I kept getting a lot of annoying pop ups in my task bar telling me that nFringe needed activating or something, so I deleted the licence from the licensing manager. Now I can't add a licence to, it just gives a popup: nFringe Activation Error Could not activate nFringe An error occurred while requesting a new license. |

This IS the support thread isn't it?
No suggestions or anything that might be considered as even remotely helpful... Please assist. |

We believe we've narrowed the problem down to the following sequence of events:
1. The user requests a non-commercial license. 2. The user does not follow the link in the email verification. 3. After 5 days, the license is disabled since the email address was not verified. 4. No method is currently in place to re-send the validation email if the license is deactivated in this way, causing future license requests to fail for that user. We're currently working on a solution. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

I did not however follow the link, instead, I cut the key and did the process for manual validation and paste the key from the email into the nFringe licence, which I assumed would validate it, however about 5 days later, it starts giving me the activation error, which I have described. |

nFringe does not have a system for manual validation. As stated in the email, you must follow the link to verify your email address.

I have installed Visual Studio 2012 and followed the directions given to me by my Lecturer at university to make nFringe work with 2012, but when I try to get a non-commercial license I get this same 'error occurred while requesting a new license'. I have set up a new email account, changed the way I present my name, changed the project name and I still get this stupid error.
I am trying to use nFringe with Visual Studio for a University Project. Please advise. |

We are working on a solution. We are having problems with our activation server that aren't simple to fix.
Sorry for the inconvenience. |
