Spinning is used to turn cotton, raw silk, wool, or malacinth into string, wool yarn, silk thread, or malacinth twine. The chances of success are based on your skill/2 and dexterity/6 plus the base percentage (currently unknown). Malacinth flax comes from a malacinth tree and the seed for the tree requires 25 foraging or higher to find.

Weaving is used to turn string, wool yarn, silk thread, or malacinth twine into cloth, wool fabric, silk cloth, or malacinth fabric. The chances of success are based on your skill/2 and base stat/6 plus the base percentage (base stat not known as of this posting).

Sewing requires scissors which can be purchased from a provisioner for 150 gold. To use the Scissors double-click them and you'll be given a menu of items you can craft. This menu includes the amount of fabric required to craft each item. The odds of success are determined by your skill/2 and dexterity/6 plus the base%.

Lumberjacking is used to gather logs from trees, at level 30 fine logs can also be acquired from trees. Gnarled logs and Heartwood logs can be acquired from Heartwood trees at level 45 and at level 70 Old Growth logs and Greater Heartwood logs can be obtained from Greater Heartwood trees. A lumberjack axe is required to lumberjack and can be bought from the woodworking shop for 150 gold or made by a carpenter with 4 planks. To use a lumberjack axe double-click it then select a tree. The odds of success are skill/2 and strength/6 plus 75% (base % may be different with larger trees).

Milling requires a saw which can be bought from a woodworking shop for 200 gold or made by a forger from 2 iron ingots. To use a saw double-click it and select the pile of logs you wish to mill (gnarled logs give 2 planks and old growth give 3). The chances of success are based on your skill/2 and dexterity/6 plus 23%. (even less for Fine, Heartwood, and Greater Heartwood logs).

Skinning is used to skin hides from certain animals and monsters. A skinning knife is required to skin and can be bought in a leathercrafting shop for 150 gold or made by blacksmith with 3 iron ingots. Only certain animals can be skinned at certain levels; before level 45 only cows, deer, rabbits, snakes, wolves, and wargs can be skinned; though at level 30 you can get quality hides from those animals. At lvl 45 you can skin minotaurs, minions, floating horrors, ogres, and hell hounds for superior hides. At level 70 you can skin demons, hell spawns, horned devils, and death tyrants for flawless hides. The chances of success are based on your skill/2 and dexterity/6 plus 50%.

Tanning requires no tools but you must stand next to a tanning vat to do. To tan just double-click on your hides then select the tanning vat. The chances for success are based on your skill/2 and intelligence/6 plus 15% (even less for magic hides).

Leatherworking requires Leatherworking tools which can be bought from the Leathercrafting shop for 200 gold. To use the Leatherworker's Tools double-click them while standing next to a Leather Workbench and you'll be given a menu of items you can craft. This menu is divided into weapons, armor, and tools and includes the number of leather required to craft each item. The odds of success are determined by your skill/2 and dexterity/6 plus the base%.

Mining is used to gather iron ore from mountains with a pickaxe, at level 30 thrallenite ore can also be acquired from mountains. Sulphur crystals and Brimidian ore can be acquired from red crystals at level 45 and at level 70 obsidian and Tallenite ore can be obtained from black crystals. A pick axe is required to mine and can be bought from any blacksmith for 150 gold or made by a lvl 2 forger with 2 iron ingots. To use a pick axe double-click it then select an area on a mountain (or crystal if lvl is high enough). The odds of success are skill/2 and str/6 plus 38% (base % may be different with crystals). You may find a random jewel while mining that can be sold for various amounts at a provisioner shop.

Smelting is the next step, to do this stand close to forge click on the bellow to heat the forge. Next click on the ore, then click on the forge and bingo iron ingots. The odds of success are determined by your skill/2 and Int/6 plus the base%.

Forging requires a blacksmith hammer which can be bought from a Blacksmith for 200 gold or made by a lvl 5 forger from 2 iron ingots. To use the Blacksmith Hammer double-click it while standing next to an anvil and you'll be given a menu of items you can craft. This menu
is divided into weapons, armor, and tools and includes the number of ingots required to craft each item. The odds of success are determined by your skill/2 and str/6 plus the base%.

Alchemy

Items Needed:
Alchemist's Mortar

Potions (These are the only 2 you can currently make on island)

Minor Healing Potion at level 0
- 1 Ear of Bat
- 1 Bloodroot

Healing Potion at level 12
- 1 Ear of Bat
- 2 Bloodroot

Alchemy is used to create a variety of magic potions by combining items gathered from monsters/animals. Alchemy requires an alchemist's mortar which must be made by a lvl 27 or higher carpenter with 2 fine planks or can be purchased from Arda's mage shop. A mortar is used by adding ingredients (double-clicking) to the mortar then double-clicking the mortar and selecting a boiling cauldron.

Sulphur crystals can be acquired through mining red crystals at lvl 45 mining. Obsidian can be acquired through mining black crystals at lvl 70 mining. Bitterwood Ash and Mandrake Seeds can be acquired through foraging bushes in hellish areas (Scorched Island, Talazar's Island, Badlands) at lvl 70 foraging. Mandrake seeds must be planted for the roots at lvl 70 farming.

Well when u log next, can ya update the info instead of just stating its wrong.. I dont play on valinor so not sure whats new or not there (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Just did a copy paste of what seemed on target. Thanks!

staff sling and leather slings do not do blunt damage anymore it does arrow. just thought i would let u know.

LOL I am sorry my guide is so freaking outdated....Nothing I can do I don't play like I use to....When I have the time I will update it and re-post....However due to new bonesnarl rules I will not be able to complete that list......
