Hello Friends of DNM,

This is to let you know we are active on both Legends and Heroes server, however our main base is on Legends.
The DNM Leader is Admiral Jeff Rogers.
He has currently the deed there and Vice-Admiral Ferro have it on Heroes.
We are currently recruiting so if you want to join please contact any of us in game.
Just have in mind that we are a neutral guild, we have a recruiting process and some rules to follow (see bellow post).

DNM Rules

1. No Looting
We understand that there are times that you must loot someone in order to regain your equipment or that of someone else's. In this case, you should only loot the equipment that belongs to you or the other person and everything else in the person's pack except for the following. (The person's weapon and main armor) This should not be difficult with the new rules that apply when you die now in Dransik.

2. No Killing
There will be absolutely NO PKing. This will not be tolerated in DNM, there are times when you must PK to stop someone from being PKed by known looters but this should not be done so that it becomes a habit or considered harassment. Please check with leader or your higher-ranking officer before acting.

3. No revealing of levels or statistics
DNM members may disclose character information to allies over private alliance channel ONLY.NO sharing of information with non-allies.

4. No telling non-guild members guild information
This is a strict rule and will not be tolerated, slips of the tongue are grounds for dismissal from the guild.

5. Weekly meetings with Guild leader and Captains, Bi-weekly meeting with entire guild
Missing two meetings in a row is grounds for punishment. Punishment and can include reduction in rank or dismissal from the guild.

6. No Vulturing
This rule refers to stealing monsters or drops that do no belong to you. It also includes attacking monsters without permission.

7. Sextant must be carried at ALL times

8. No sharing account or character

9. No Macroing

Joining DNM

If you are interested in joining, find members in game and talk to them, become friends with them.
For the only way to join the ranks of the Dransik Navy & Marines is by invitation.

When you receive an invitation you'll need to contact Admiral Jeff Rogers.

You should receive an application shortly. Fill it out, and send it back to Jeff. When you complete the application an interview will be set up.

Questions concerning your application will be asked as well as many other questions at this interview. If you make it through the interview then the members of the guild will have 1 week to vote yes/no on your membership (thus making time you spend making friends in the guild very important). When the week is up you will receive an e-mail notifying you of your membership status.

Once in the guild don't forget to salute senior officers every time you see them (if they leave your sight and come back you must salute again). Hard work and much dedication will gain you rank. Hope to see you with the DNM tag soon!!

I'm doing a bit of research/information gathering for an upcoming story. I need *anything* related to nautical lore that AE has to offer, from which towns have harbors to the history and members of DNM. Anything at all will help, and it can be *any* tidbits of information relating to ships, Scalo, pirates, DNM, etc. Thank you.

Wow, miss you all , talked to LB last night and she is going to pass an email to all those she can, with Jeff;s help. I can only access my magicdnm addy or my main one , I havnt been able to get other ones going , because I forgot passwords...

Well hey all, I realize it has been a few years since I last talked and caught up on the current affairs in AE and especially DNM. I guess I just decided that I needed to distance myself from everyone and find my way in life. There was more than a few causes of my anger back then and I unfairly took my frustrations out on a number of players in-game and for that I can never trully forgive myself when they were never trully the ones at fault.

But enough about the past, I wanted to let those in DNM know that I plan to be returning in-game very soon (possibly tonight). Hopefully, Gentle, I'll be afforded the opportunity to speak with you about some things of importance.

Till I see you all again, I wish you all smooth sailing and winds to guide you on your way.

Just an update, GM Wintergreen had to suspend my account temporarily to fix a billing error and to reset the email address linked to my account. So I'll probably not be in-game for at least a week. Though some good news is that before the account was suspended, I managed to get lvl 55 on Falconwing and a few more smelting, milling and body magic levels.

In the meantime, when I'm not at work and school isn't requiring my time, I'll be working on updating AE HQ (which is now accessed at www.warrencomputing.com). So feel free to drop by there and take a look if you've got some spare time.

So yeah, I'm finally back after my what was it? 3 year sebatical?? But yeah, I've decided that now is the appropriate time for me to make my entrance back into the game and with all officer's of DNM's blessing, back with the guild that trully felt like family. Yes, even those few members who sometimes made me want to strangle them lol. Of course, I realize I was too high strung and under way too much stress back then because of more than a few personal problems in my life. And now that I have resolved several of those issues, it is with great joy that I return to the uncharted waters of Dransik and pledge my honor and loyalty to the Dransik Navy & Marines.

Some of us are making a comeback of sorts. Sharlath and I play every now and then, Thepio is inquiring about his characters and has been spotted once or twice ingame and some of our alliance members are also returning. Thepio sent a group email to all members of our forum asking them to stop by and let us all know how you're doing. I hope to see all our members ingame or at least make an appearance at our forums.

Hey all!! Graceangel checking in! I joined DNM before going on what was an indefinite hiatus... I been off playing a lot of wow.

In any case, I won't be able to afford the expansion for a bit... but, I'd like to get it asap at some point.. seeing as I'd love to have a spot on a ship! sailing seems real fun. :3

I remember what made me wanna join DNM was back when they were on the P server; I participated in a server event they hosted called a naked run to hell.. Was so much fun.. good times :3

I dont remember if it was P or S server when I joined DNM (nor do I recall what character it was), but i DO remember the test of membership.

I had to find a few places on the world map only being given sextant co-ordinates.

There were a few other tests, but we also had a meeting inside the Parian Archers house in Parian.

It was very elite and cool, and being able to join DNM was a huge privlege, and something to be proud of (other guilds at the time liek this were T and Phoenix Kingdom)

Hullo Jeff.

1) There aren't that many active members atm. Some of us get on every now and then to have some fun for a few hours though.

2) The problem with your rank is not by will. It's a bug that has set some members with unknown ranks. We cannot promote/demote members with such a rank. Seeing that some rooms in the GH are restricted by rank, "unknown" ranked members can't enter these rooms. If I catch you online, maybe we can try detagging/retagging and see if that works.

3) Our neighbors on the island are the "Heart of Ancient Hunters" guild.

4) I was able to get a DNM deed on Dransik if you're interested in getting a tag.

5) This shoulda been at first but happy birthday

The bad part is that I lost all my marked bouys so I had te restart 1 month ago. I marked all the main areas I remembered. Hopefully I have plenty of time to make it again. And people don't forget to level your cannonering as well, we have te fight those pirates eficiently.
So please gather carbonite as much as possible and I will turn them in ammo for you.

I carry a rusted sextant in my backpack for the glory of the guild but I marked the buoys only on the map. They will record their coordinates however on the personal data folder.

Hello everyone, DNM will celebrate 12 years of being a guild on Feb. 16 2013. We are having a party on the island where our guild hall is. There will be beef, beer, baked goods and maybe a few surprises. Everyone is welcome that can sail there. Those with rafts will be escorted through the sea monsters if desired. If you have any ideas how to make it a more enjoyable time please let me know. We also plan to have power hours going through the celebration. If a kind GM or Dev would spawn some prey during the party that would be great. That way folks could eat drink and level up while chatting with friends. I admit I am not great at throwing parties but I hope this one will be a memorable one for all concerned. So please attend and help DNM celebrate staying active for 12 years.

Okay...so the one guild page I found listed me as "retired". Pfft!! I'm not that old, yet. I've dusted off the old leather tunic and exploring again and was surprised to see DNM still up. Jeff it seems you have done well. I apologize RL did not allow me to keep fighting and sailing by your side. Well I'm back now and looking for some DNM's. Are any still on Dransik classic or is it only AE? Let me know cause I'd love to get tagged back in and have some fun.

I did. I was the co-founder I suppose. I was with Jeff back when lvl 40 was the highest you could go in Dransik. I was the general of the Marines. I thought I had posted this under the DNM thread but obviously did not. Thanks for the info.

From the looks of things you've made it last my friend. Has it really been 12 years? Well I'm in AE but only lvl 3 in the newb town. On Dransik I'm in parian killin' thieves and fighters. Someone let me know what's going on.

We now control all of DNM island. For some reason the folks who built the other guild hall have let it go poof. We have since built another guild hall in it's place. Ferro gave over 100mil toward the new hall, and Dark Boris, Sybil and Godfryt also contributed millions toward it. Many other members gave materials as well.

When our GH (H Guild) poofed on L server (due to server move) it bugged out our guild. We now have no "leeder" position in guild. (no deed holder). So, now we cant do a lot of things with the guild. Promote, demote, decorate, etc.....No biggie, everyone QUIT.

Just read Jeff's email that he'd sent in 2013. Haven't checked that email since 2012. Decided to pop in on the Legends server to see if anyone was still active. How's everyone doing (if anyone still reads this forum)?
