Running Windows 7 64 bit. Can't seem to login on the launcher. Says unable to connect to login server, try again. Tried restarting my own connection, reinstalling client, nothing works. Account works fine, can login on the website.

Try these 2 things to see if one of them fixes your problem:

1) Try typing your user name by hand.

2) copy the Ashen Empires directory somewhere safe, reinstall the launcher, and copy the Ashen Empires directory back into the directory.

Basically your log is saying whatever you sent to the login server is junk, so that's why I recommended the things I did.

Hi,

So I gave those a try and no luck, keep in mind I haven't even gotten the chance to patch the game on this computer. I read a few old replies to people who've had similar issues. If I use a VM to install the game within the virtual machine, it surprisingly works fine. Thing is, I don't have any firewalls (which has been said to be culprit).

That 400 thing would usually rule out the firewall. Make sure you can login to pixelminegames.com using internet explorer. The launcher uses that to communicate with the login server.

Okay, figured it out. Basically I reread another thread which talked about the network adapters on my computer being too much for the server to handle so I disabled all the network adapters I wasn't using (VM, local lan network, wireless 2, 3, etc...) and that fixed it. This will probably help other people down the line. Thanks for your help.
