Just took a test during peak time friday 7pm, at nights gets much better. Only $33 per month (IMG:style_emoticons/default/AECohmy.gif) (IMG:http://www.speedtest.net/result/1264132397.png) 2 and 3 ms is virtually impossible unless you're pinging the server you're literally right next to, even lan lining to a computer 1 foot away from you is higher than 2-3ms, that's a faked dealio. Fake? Explain how you fake these things... Photoshopped, the speed of light travels at 186miles per millisecond, meaning his internet is pinging the server at half the speed of light roughly 90k miles per second, when was the last time you've heard of such technology? Even fiber optics that use light as communication gets sent to many receivers, it's possible to have between 5-8ms if you're on a T1-T3 connection using fiber optics even than you would be in between 50-75 miles of the server and literally 4 times slower than 2ms, the guy has 94.94 download at 2ms, it's virtually impossible, it's literally stating his internet service can go around the world 3 1/2 times in less than 1/1000th of a second. Just takes a little math. I doubt he cares that much... Averion, <50miles means LESS THAN FIFTY MILES. It can be a centimeter. Also the star rating is the rating speedtest.com gives to a certain ISP. It's not the rating of his connection. |

Not that I care one way or the other but an fyi. At peak times when my connection does more poorly the star rating goes down for my isp, at non peak times when my down speed virtually doubles it goes up.

Lol averion, just check the link to the picture and u'll see its linked straight from speedtest.net dumbass, anyways my isp upgraded their outdated traffic to a newer systems and changed my modem free of charge, so now my plan is 300mb inside country and as well 300mb outside, havent really noticed any difference as im still uploading the same amount of media everyday.. from 400 to 500gb (IMG:style_emoticons/default/BananaSad.gif)

I'm not going to bother going to the website you guys use just because it takes too long for me to travel from site to site. I have a 56k dial-up connection that gets a max of 44kbs. If that wasn't bad enough it is sometimes laned between 3 different computers. Lets just say its slow (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) I live out in the country in good ol Indiana, USA. I think there are people living in huts in Africa that get better internet speed than I do.
