I am just starting to look into programming, and would like to make an rpg of my own. My question is what was Dransik programmed with, and what kind of compiler was used? I am currently using TurboC but it seems very limited... any help?

Dransik was written in C/C++.

For a compiler, you should use Microsoft Visual Studio. There is a free version available (Express edition).

Thanks a lot! I'm self teaching though its hard to find correct tutorials online. Most are filled with minor errors with spelling, missing protocols, or just as simple as a missing bracket or semicolon, but those are the hardest to spot, and makes it very hard to learn. Granted the only thing I have memorized is a bit of the printf and scanf commands, I feel like I can learn it without taking classes IF I can find a good source code to study.
