To all who come a-knocking on the Temple door, seeking admittance, search thy heart deeply; know thy innermost yearnings.

Those who join T become servants of Isos. T's strive to never shed blood unless it be in self-defense or to protect those who cannot protect themselves; a hard road to tred once the taste for blood is in thee. T's never kill people for material gain; a hard path to walk once the lust for lucre is upon thee.

Take these things to heart and only knock if thou art prepared to walk forever in the light of Isos. To become a T is to become a T for life. 'Tis better to have never been a T than to be a T disgraced.

We are interested in people who have:

• a sense of humor
• a tendency to rp
• honor & loyalty
• "care-bear" inclinations
• looking for a permanent home & family in the world of Dransik

"Templum Veritae" translates to Temple of Truth. We are followers of Isos, God of light, and therefore make our home in Parian's Temple... though it is not uncommon to see one of our members far from home. Our motto, "Veritas Vincit", means "truth conquers". The light of Isos cuts through all deceit and lies, and by following Isos we too are able to see people and their actions for what they really are.

It is easiest to describe our guild as a family. We are all very close friends and defend one another vehemently. An attack on a member is an attack on the whole, and we treat these actions as such.

In game we role-play some and power level some... but above all we have fun and care for one another.

Above all else, use common sense.

Always present yourself in a proper fashion and respect the other inhabitants of the world.

It is the duty of every Templar to defend other Templars and allied guilds to the best of their ability

The following apply primarily to Heroes:

No random PKing - Any PvP action committed by a member must be retaliatory, in self defense, or an act of declared war.

Looting is only permissible if the person attacked you, or you intend to give the item back to the original owner.

Members are absolutely forbidden from acts of aggression with guilds T is NAPed with. If a member of the other guild violates the NAP consult a council member or, barring that being an option because of urgency, use your best judgment.

Joining T can be a long and arduous process. This is because we are very selective in how we choose our members. As mentioned earlier, Templum Veritae is more like a family than a guild. As such a new member isn't just being given a position in the guild... they're being given a position in our family. So please, if you are interested in joining, understand that it will not be a hasty process.

Another important item of note: We are invite only! This is not to say someone inquiring about joining will be turned away, but understand that there is a key difference between applying to join a guild and being asked to join. We want to make sure new members are people that have that special "something" that makes a good Templar. The best way to be invited is to be our friends - hunt with members, get to know us, ask questions about the guild and present yourself in a polite and orderly fashion.

We do not allow alts in other guilds because of potential conflict.

Do NOT bug/hassle/harass the guild recruiter or any other member about joining! This is a surefire way to make sure you never get an invite.

PKing our members is also generally not a good way to earn an invite.

Prospect Templars will be subjected to several tests. Chances are the prospects won’t even know they’re happening, and frankly stating what they are would defeat the purpose.

After passing the tests, the prospect will become a Squire and tagged as a Templar. The Squireship period lasts roughly a week (more or less at the council's discretion). During this period the member is given one chance to observe the guild rules. After this period has expired the Squire will be Knighted, and become a full member of the Templum Veritae!
